Donnie L. Bennett, 83, of Louisville, formerly of Adair County, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 in Louisville.
He retired from Kentucky Fried Chicken, Inc., as maintenance supervisor.
He was the son of the late Allen and Edith Kemp Bennett of Adair County.
Donnie was preceded in death by his son, Marshall Bennett.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie J. (Smith) Bennett of Louisville; his children, Fay Bennett of Louisville and Kay Bennett of Louisville, Deborah L.White and her husband Doug of Cane Valley and Felisa G. Feign and her husband Jeremy of Louisville; daughter-in-law, Tammy Bennett of Campbellsville.
Eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Owen Funeral Home in Louisville with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West).
