H.D. Patterson, 79, of Breeding, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab.
He was born on May 2, 1933, in Adair County, and was the son of the late Guy and Jane Lacy Patterson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cary Patterson.
He was a United States Army veteran, a former truck driver for Gibson’s Sawmill and was a farmer.
He is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Roger) Lawson of Campbellsville; one sister, Marlene (Paul) Grant of Breeding; and by two grandchildren, Alex and Daniel Lawson.
Three nieces and two nephews also survive.
Funeral service was Friday, Dec. 28 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Fudge and Bro. Tony Franklin officiating with burial in Fudge Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Tim Patterson, Dan Lawhorn, Blake Lawhorn, Chris Grant, Roger Lacy and Kasey Alford.
Honorary casket bearers were Creed Lacy, David Bell, Wendell Grant and Dale Hurt.
