Donald H. Samuell, 76, of Edmonton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at his home.
He was born on June 12, 1935 and was the son of the late Zack Louis and Elsie Loy Samuell of Glens Fork.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gowen Samuell of Columbia; his sons, Roger Samuell of Breeding and Zack Louis Samuell of Columbia; one sister, Bernadine Andrew of Glens Fork; and by three grandchildren, Mark Samuell, Kim Samuell and Kevin Samuell.
He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Sanford Samuell.
Mr. Samuell was a lifelong farmer and attended Sparksville Baptist Church.
Funeral service was Sunday, Jan. 22 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Landis and Bro. Ralph Hadley officiating with interment in Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dwight Andrew, James Dial, Darrell Hagan, Kevin Samuell, Kim Samuell, Mark Samuell and Mike Samuell.
