Jack Mullins, 78, of Columbia, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.
He was born on Jan. 5, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn. and was the son of the late Maury and Louise Mullins.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Day Mullins of Columbia; one daughter and her husband, Tiffany and Brian Derry of Madison, Miss.; one sister, Linda Farris of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Carly and Cameron Donovan and Devin and Alexis Derry.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Randall Mullins, and one sister, Norma Jean Norman.
Mr. Mullins served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of Charity Baptist Church and Millwright Local 1031 in Louisville.
Funeral service was Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Hugh Withers officiating.
Cremation was chosen with inurnment in the Columbia Cemetery.
