OBIT: Paul Woody Bryant, 79

Paul Woody Bryant, 79, of the Ozark community, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Westlake Regional Hospital emergency room.

He was born on March 4, 1933 in the Ozark community and was the son of the late Lander and Lula Tucker Bryant. He is survived by his wife, Mable Ruth Bryant of Columbia; one daughter, Linda Kinnett and her husband David of Columbia; one grandson, Brandon Kinnett and his wife B.J. of Columbia; and by one great granddaughter, Destiny Kinnett.

He is also survived by a host of friends and family.

He was preceded in death by a special cousin, Opal Tucker Bryant.

Mr. Bryant attended Freedom Separate Baptist Church, was a retired farmer and was a monument sales representative for many years.

Funeral service was Wednesday, July 18 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Rev. Carlie Riggs and Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating with interment in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Chris Bryant, Edwin Bryant, Ronnie Bryant, Houston Price, Charlie Roy, Lilburn Roy and Bruce Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Bryant, Donald “Buck” Campbell, Jessee Cook, Kenneth Cowan, Chuck Hendrickson, Eldon Kinnett, Danny Reeves, Dennis Reeves, James Louis Reeves and Leslie Sinclair, Jr.
