OBIT: Randel D. Rowe

Randel D. Rowe, was at peace with Christ on Saturday, July 7, 2012.

He was born on Dec. 2, 1944 in the Chance community of Adair County, and was a longtime resident of the Southwest side of the Chicago-Clearing neighborhood.

He was the dearly beloved husband of Carrie H. Rowe; devoted father of Randy Rowe and his wife Cathy of Willow Springs, Lahoma Bracken and her husband Patrick of Oak Lawn, Ill., Samantha Rowe of Chicago, Ill. and Tammy Larios of Hickory Hills, Ill.; the loving grandfather of Nicole Bracken, Randel Bracken and Hunter Rowe; dear brother to Max Rowe and his wife Diane of Sparksville and Corine Petty and her husband James of Shepherdsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lorine Murphy Rowe and by a son, James S. Rowe.

He was a longtime member of Wesleyan Missionary Church and United Auto Workers.

Funeral service was Saturday, July 14, at Wesleyan Missionary Church in Chicago, Ill. with Rev. Thomas Reed and Rev. Stephen Smith officiating with interment in Mt. Auburn Memorial Park in Stickney, Ill.
