Helen Carla Murray, 69, of Glensfork, KY passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born on May 16, 1954, in Adair County, KY to the late Lilburn Tarlton and Ella Velma Bradshaw Murray. She was also preceded in death by a sister Willie Ann Murray.
Ms. Murray was a member of the Mt. Zion Community Church and enjoyed playing Bingo, flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two children Shelly Murray Kerns (Ricky) and Angie Gayle Murray (Brent Lasley) both of Columbia, KY; two grandchildren Vanessa and Gary Cooper; a step grandson Jakobe Lasley; two great grandchildren Khloe Crawhorn and Kyran Cooper; two sisters Debbie Taylor (Steve) of Breeding, KY, and Virginia Redmon (Bobby) of Jamestown, KY.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, February 19, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Grant Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Monday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Dwan Hadley will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Tony Hadley, Ricky Kerns, Brent Lasley, Steven Burton, Tom Bunch, and Jakobe Lasley. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Taylor, Bobby Redmon, Brandon Grant, and Darren Taylor.
