OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (October 26, 2023) – On October 24, 2023, Kentucky State Police (KSP), Morehead received a call for assistance from Bath County Dispatch with a two-vehicle injury collision. The collision occurred on KY 11 near the Bath/ Montgomery County line.
Through the investigation, it was determined that Donna G. Maze, 90 years of age from Owingsville was traveling south on KY 11 operating a 2007 Lincoln Town Car. Kyle D. Gray, 34 years of age from Flemingsburg was traveling north on KY 11 operating a 2020 Hyundai Sonata. Ms. Maze lost control of her vehicle causing her to strike Mr. Gray's vehicle. Donna Maze was pronounced deceased by Bath County Deputy Coroner Michael Gray at the scene. Kyle Gray was transported by helicopter to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of his injuries. KSP was assisted by the Bath County Sheriff’s Department, Bath County Coroner’s Office, and Bath County Fire and EMS. This collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police, Morehead.
