Larry Gene Conover, 64, of Columbia, died Thursday, December 21, 2023 at UK Chandler Hospital in Lexington.
He was born May 1, 1959 in Adair County to Alva Gene and the late Cathy Johnson Conover. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Conover Strange.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Mann Conover of Columbia; one daughter, Dana Holmes (Michael) of Columbia; one son, Josh Conover (Angie) of Columbia; his father, Rev. Gene Conover of Columbia; two brothers, Gary Conover, who the family lost on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 and Jon Conover, both of Columbia; seven grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Burial in Freedom Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Brandon Holmes, Jared Conover, Koh Kroaner, B.J. Huff, Ryan Herron and Jordan Simpson.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
