Randall Monday, 76, of Liberty died Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

He was born March 4, 1947 in Casey County, to the late Freeman and Ora Scott Monday.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Jo Foust Monday; three siblings, Carl, Elva and Venie; and a step-son, Ricky Herren. Mr. Monday was a former truck driver and retired as a Road Foreman of the Casey County Fiscal Court and a Mason.

Survivors include four children, Shawn Monday of Liberty, Lona Woodrum (Brett) of Liberty, Heather Slavey of Nancy and Laurie Bryant (Charlie) of Liberty; one sister, Boots Foley of Liberty;

his fiancé and her son, Linda Murphy and Brad Craig of Greensburg; two step-sons, Gary Herren Jr. of Liberty and Eddie Herren of Parksville; six grandchildren, Presley, Brody, Sydney, Katie, Madison and Charley Shay; two great-grandchildren, Kayson and Evie; and several other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Stevie Allen officiating. Burial was in Whited Cemetery in Casey County and Casket Bearers were Shawn Monday, Brad Craig, Charlie Bryant, Lee Monday, Jordan Monday andGary Herren, Jr.
