Stephen Lynn Gadberry, 61, of Columbia passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Columbia on April 1, 1962 to the late Orville Denver ‘Dutch’ Gadberry and Ethel Mae McClister Gadberry of Burkesville who survives.
Mr. Gadberry was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion of 42 years, Deborah Bryant of Columbia; a daughter, Samantha Lynn Bryant (Christopher Gilbert) of Columbia; two grandchildren, Rickie Mae Bryant and Stevie Ray Gilbert; three sisters, Judy Mings of Louisville, Donna Bailey (Danny) of Columbia and Pam Prewitt (Rick) of Burkesville; a sister-in-law, Josephine Gadberry of Columbia and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Gadberry; and a brother-in-law, J.C. Mings.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the McClister Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and will continue Saturday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Stanley Watson and Bro. Ralph Foster will be officiating and pallbearers will be Chris Gilbert, Blake Helm, Chris Wethington, Jeff Herron, Jonathan Vaughn and Victor Vaughn.
