Terry Cecil Hunt

Terry Cecil Hunt of Campbellsville, son of the late Hulette Hunt and Dionas Hunt, was born July 15, 1948, in Taylor County.

He died at 4:40 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 in Campbellsville at the age of 68.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, Amazon and Fleetwood Travel Trailers.

Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He united in marriage to Paula Colvin on January 19, 1968.

Besides his wife, Paula Colvin Hunt of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and two daughters, Travis Hunt of Campbellsville, Sheila Taylor and her husband Billy Darin Taylor and Angela Butler of Columbia; two grandchildren, Joshua Darin Taylor and Kyle Lynn Butler of Columbia; by one brother and three sisters, Buel Hunt and his wife Betty of Augusta, Ga., Darlene Gilpin and her husband Cecil and Phyllis Phillips and her husband George McGee, all of Campbellsville, and Beverly Duggin of Louisville; his mother-in-law, Mary Aileen Colvin of Campbellsville; his brother-in-law, David Sonny Colvin of Shepherdsville; and by three sisters-in-law, Joyce Colvin, LaQuita Hunt and Doris Hunt, all of Campbellsville.

Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends also survive.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Coleman Hunt May 6, 2015, Carl Hunt November 29, 2002, Shelby Hunt December 22, 2009 and Sylvia Parrott September 27, 2016.

Funeral service was Saturday, Nov. 26 at Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Rev. J.T. Rafferty and Rev. Steve Warner officiating with burial in Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery.

Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
