Timothy Wayne Howard, 66, of Breeding, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at Tennessee Valley Health Care Service in Nashville, Tenn., after an illness.

He was born on Sept. 16, 1946 in Middletown, Ohio and was the son of the late Frank Edward Howard and Mary Cottingham Howard of Crestview, Fla., who survives.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Susan Cassell Howard of Breeding; one son, Timothy Jason Howard and his wife Lori of Sunman, Ind.; three daughters, Michelle Renee Howard and her husband Shawn Horstman of Rising Sun, Ind., Tara Alecia Lycus of Nashville, Tenn., and Shana Celeste Lycus of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Frank Howard of Pineland, Texas and Terry Howard of Mason, Ohio; three sisters, Nancy Kirk of Texas, Sherry Thompson of Ohio and Peggy Howard of Ohio; and by one grandchild, Emma Michelle Howard.

Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

He was a disabled Vietnam War veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army and was a farmer.

Funeral service was Monday, Dec. 31 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. David Kemp officiating with burial in Fudge Cemetery at Breeding with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097.

Pallbearers were Todd Stotts, Terry Howard, Frank Howard, Jason Howard, Jerry Howard and Aaron Rapp.
