Uneeda Burton, 78, of Russell Springs, the Webb’s Crossroad community, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at Russell County Hospital emergency room, after several months illness.
She was born on March 17, 1943 in the Ella community of Adair County and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Alta Roberts Pike.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Burton on May 7, 1998.
She is survived by three daughters, Reva Schmitt of Russell Springs, Norma Lucas of Russell Springs and Angela Burton and her fiancée Kevin Lewis, of Louisville; one son, Richard Burton and his fiancée, Melinda Hayes; and by three grandchildren, Missi Turner, Anthony Burton and Latisha Lucas.
Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Hitch.
She was a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. David Coffey officiating with interment in New Hope Cemetery.
