Students at Adair County Primary Center have been celebrating Red Ribbon Week. This year’s theme is Be a Buddy Not a Bully! Say No to Bullying and Drugs by showing Respect, Responsibility, and Being Ready to Learn!
The winners of the classrooms out of each grade who brought in the most cans of food were as follows: Karla Stone for Kindergarten, Luci Irvin for 1st grade, and Christina Burton for 2nd grade.
Those classrooms received a special necklace that says “Be a Buddy Not a Bully.” Pictured are some students out of those classrooms holding a few of the cans out of 220 donated, which will be given to our local Adair County Food Pantry.
