The Adair County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in that occurred Jan. 23 at The Breeding County Mart near the Adair/Cumberland line. The perpetrators broke in by breaking a glass door to gain entry.
Two perpetrators made their way to the register as well as taking several brands of cigarettes.
The sheriff’s department believes the assailants may try to sell the stolen cigarettes and asks anyone with information about any sale attempts to call 911.
