Columbia Police Officers observed a subject, whom they were aware had a suspended operators license, behind the wheel at Hudson Street Five Star on Saturday, Aug. 8.
Upon establishing contact, it was later confirmed that the subject also had warrants from Adair and Russell Counties. Officers also observed scales and suspected heroin within the party’s vehicle.

As the subject was being taken into custody, he was asked if he had anything on his person that would poke or stab officers, to which he replied no. However, an uncapped syringe was located on the subject’s person upon search.
Patrick Rowe, 33, of Columbia is facing multiple charges including operating on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, wanton endangerment of police officer 2nd degree, and possession of heroin, a class D felony.
Officer Ethan Pike was the arresting officer and was assisted on scene by Officer Evan Burton and Kentucky State Trooper Billy Begley.
