Adair man arrested on outstanding warrants, meth

The Adair County Sheriffs Office received information Saturday night that a subject that had been on the run from authorities for several months had been spotted at a residence 6 miles east of Columbia on Liberty Road. Adair County Sheriff Moss and Deputy Hitch along with Kentucky State Trooper Chase Willis responded to this location, to attempt to locate this subject.

Upon arriving, Teddy Pyles of Columbia was located at this residence. Pyles was arrested on outstanding warrants for flagrant non support, and criminal possession of a forged prescription, 1st degree.

During the arrest there were substances that appeared to be methamphetamine. Pyles was arrested and transported to the Adair County Regional Jail and charged with possession of controlled substance 1st degree, first offense (methamphetamine).

Deputy Brandon Hitch is the arresting officer.
