The Columbia Police Department responded to TNC apartments on Russell Road late Friday night just before midnight. Upon arrival officers encountered and arrested an Adair man after finding he had attacked two parties with an object resulting in both parties sustaining lacerations.
Jason McClister, 37, of Columbia, was take into custody and has been charged with two counts of assault 2nd degree, a class C felony. According to the police department, McClister attacked a relative and the relative’s boyfriend during an altercation, injuring both parties. The weapon was recovered on scene.
Officer Trevor Foster was the arresting officer. He was assisted on scene by Officer Jordan Dean and Deputy Joey Keith.
