Adair man dies after June 6 accident in Taylor County

Date: Tuesday, June 6, 2017               Time: 7:08 P.M.

Location: South Columbia Avenue and Autumn Drive

Agencies Involved: Campbellsville Police Department, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Campbellsville Taylor County EMS, and Campbellsville Fire-Rescue.

Investigating Officers:            Sgt. Shannon Wilson and Sgt. Scotty Perian

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 7:08 P.M. the Campbellsville Police Department investigated an automobile collision on South Columbia Avenue at Autumn Drive.

A 1997 Ford F-150 operated by 38 year old Christopher A. Grant of Columbia was traveling northbound on South Columbia Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and it began to overturn several times.

Grant, who was ejected from the vehicle, was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville Taylor County EMS and later flown to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
