Alice Jane Cowan, 62, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 6:15 A.M. at her home after an illness.
She was born September 30, 1957 in Springfield, Illinois and formerly worked as a Nurse’s Aid for Lake Cumberland Home Health.
Her father, Leonard Cowan, preceded her in death.

Her mother – Dorothy Pierce Cowan of Columbia
Three daughters – Machelle Young (Doug Bryant), Tracey Simpson (Mat Corbin) all of Columbia, Melissa (Bryan) Russell of Jamestown
One brother – Mike Cowan of Tennessee
One sister – Donna Cates of Arkansas
Four grandchildren – Dustin, Deven, Bethany and Braylee
Several other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Friday, July 31, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating
Burial in Bearwallow Cemetery
Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Friday
