Anson Genus Lee Steward, 43, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 in Lexington.

He was born on June 29, 1969 in Somerset and was the son of Jack Lee and Joyce Tucker Steward.

He was a master musician, vocalist and worship leader from the time he was five years old.

His music will be missed by many whose lives were influenced throughout his life.

He was serving as the worship pastor at Trinity Life Center in Lexington.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda Deaton Steward; three beautiful daughters whom he always referred to as his “three queens,” Elizabeth Georgia Anne, Victoria Grace Breanne and Isabella Pearl Leeanne; and by is mother, Joyce Tucker Steward, all of Lexington.

Also surviving are his very special aunt and uncle, Jane and Peter Condes, and by many, many cousins.

Funeral service was Sunday, March 24 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Machan officiating with interment in Freedom Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Steward Memorial Fund, care of Trinity Life Center, 1280 Higbee Mill Rd., Lexington, KY 40503.

Pallbearers were Richard Chesser, Alex Mosley, Marty McDaniel, Peter Condes, Ronnie Bryant, David Kinnett, Charles Roy and Matthew Condes.
