Bobby Allen Compton, 80, died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at his home in Adair County.
He was born May 3, 1940, in Adair County, to the late Edgar Riley and Fannie Keltner Compton, a member of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran and retired from Wabash Fiber Box Company in Argo, Illinois. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Harold, Jimmy & Eddie Compton and Helen Keltner.

Two daughters – Glenda (Dale) Wilson of Lockport, Illinois and Deanna (Darrell) Price of Jabez, KY
One brother – Danny Joe (Anne) Compton of Adair County
One sister – Judy Coomer of Adair County
Eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends
Funeral service – Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Sammy Norris officiating
Burial in Moore Cemetery
