The Adair Sheriff’s Office was sent to a break-in on Motley Road just off of Curt Keltner Road late Wednesday afternoon. Allen Crowdus who owns the property but only lives there part time went to the residence and discovered three males coming out of his front door. Crowdus states he told them to stay put but the men all fled in a late model vehicle torquosie in color with temporary tags. Deputy Adam Cravens and Sheriff Harrison Moss responded to the residence. When Deputy Cravens went into the home he discovered what was likely remnants of meth manufacturing. Detective Tracy McCarol of Columbia City Police was called out for cleanup. Several items were collected as evidence from the property. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
