Faye Jessie, 68, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at her home after an illness.
She was born on April 3, 1943 in Adair County and was the daughter of the late Owen and Vernie Lee Pelston England of Columbia.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Jessie of Columbia; two sons, David Jessie and his wife Holly and Dewayne Jessie, both of Columbia; one daughter, Cynthia Aubin and her husband Kevin of Louisville; one brother, Leonard England of Breeding; four sisters, Lucille Troutman of Frankfort, Carol Roach of Louisville, Martha Leach of Georgia and Johnnietta Jessie of Edmonton; and by six grandchildren, Kurtis Jessie, Kenton Jessie, Samantha Jessie, Karli Jessie, Amanda Frames and Megan Aubin.
Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
She was a member of Wells Chapel Baptist Church at Breeding and was a factory worker.
Funeral service was Friday, Jan. 20 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Rev. David Summers and Rev. Frank Aubin officiating with interment in Moore Cemetery at Gradyville.
Memorials are suggested to Hosparus of Central Kentucky and may be left at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Ethan Gibson, Jacob Adams, Greg Troutman, Teddy England, James Roach and Kyle Jessie.
