Olen Tucker II, aka Bingo the Clown, was injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday around 3:38 p.m. while traveling four miles east of Columbia on KY 80.
Tucker, 43, of Russell Springs, was operating a 2000 Volkswagon eastbound when he left the roadway and struck a tree. He was not belted.
He was initially transported to Westlake Regional Hospital by Adair County EMS then airlifted to University of Kentucky Hospital.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Ryan Wolking is investigating. Adair County Sheriff’s Office, Search and Rescue, and EMS also responded to the scene.
