September 22-28 is National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, and the Adair County Adult Education Center has several activities planned for the whole community. Activities are for everyone, regardless of whether or not you have your diploma.
1.) Pop-Up Premiere. Attend the Pop-Up Premiere on Monday, September 22 at 6 p.m. at the Adult Education Center located at 108 Lindsey Wilson Street and get an exclusive sneak peek at a great new series by KET, “Dropping Back In.” Refreshments will be served. (Please call the center to register for event)

2.) Community Night: Attend Community Night on Tuesday, September 23 at 6 p.m. at the Adult Education Center and see how classes are taught and hear from current students and instructors. (Please call the center to register for event)
3.) Book-It Challenge: Email a picture of yourself reading to someone you love (like your favorite child) to [email protected], and we’ll post it to our Facebook page. Kentucky Adult Education (www.facebook.com/KYAdultEducation) will also post it to its page! All individuals who participate in this challenge will be entered into a drawing for a basket of goodies to be given away on September 30th.
