OBIT: Corrine Sparks Harvey, 91

Corrine Sparks Harvey, 91, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born on March 14, 1920 in Cumberland County and was the daughter of the late Hattie Chapman Sparks Traylor and Arthur Sparks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Harvey; two brothers, Albert Sparks and Melvin Sparks; a sister, Delores Sparks Smith; a sister-in-law, Vola Harvey; and her step father, Joe Traylor.

She was a longtime resident of Adair County and Lexington. Since moving to Bowling Green, she was a member of First Baptist Church and Faith Sunday School Class. She was an accomplished seamstress and avid gardener and past member of several garden clubs.

Mrs. Harvey is survived by one son, James D. Harvey and his wife Sue of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Wanda Rosdeutscher and her husband David of Bowling Green; two grandsons, Michael D. Harvey and John Daivd Rosdeutscher and his wife Kimberly; three granddaughters, Jennifer Harvey Seay and her husband Chuck, Heather Rosdeutscher and Julie Rosdeutcher Crowe and her husband Doug; two great granddaughters, Corinne and Kira Crowe; and by six great grandsons, Jordan and Noah Rosdeutscher, Matt Crowe, Jack Seay, Jacob Harvey and C.J. Penny.

Funeral service is today at 10 a.m. at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green with burial in Fudge Cemetery at Breeding.
