The soldiers cross was stolen from the War Memorial at the entrance to the Fairgrounds sometime Wednesday night. This cross was there to honor the men and women who have given their lives for this nation.
Joe Hare, post commander, said, “It is a disgrace to the whole community that we have people that have no more respect for our home than this.”
The VFW sure would like to know who took the cross. iIt is not the momentary value it is what it means in respect to our fallen brothers and sisters. Anyone with any information please contact the VFW.
