Dale Melton, 69, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 7:30 P.M. at his home.
He was born August 9, 1948, in Cumberland County, to the late Herman and Madge Myers Melton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son; Andy Melton. Dale was a well- known block and brick layer and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Two sons – Terry Melton of Richmond, Ron and his wife Leslie Melton of Columbia
Two brothers – Gary and his wife Ann Melton of Columbia, Jerry and his wife Susan Melton of Russell Springs
Grandchildren – Elizabeth and her husband Chance Scholl and Jonathan Melton
Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law – Brenda Trent of Brandenburg, Barbara Giles of Columbia,
J.W. Hendrickson of Columbia, Dickie Hendrickson of Port Angeles, Washington
Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Piatt officiating
Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation after 3:00 P.M. Friday
