Dora Mae Stone, 84, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at her residence.

She was born June 23, 1936, in Adair County, to the late Tom Paul and Nannie Mae Curry Stone.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Bernard Stone.  Dora Mae was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and retired from Fruit of the Loom.

Survivors include:

Two daughters – Kaneice Frost and husband Barry of Columbia, Darlene Conover of Columbia and fiancé, Steven Cowles of Bowling Green

Two grandchildren – David Breeding of Columbia, Whitney Frost of  Bowling Green

Two step-grandchildren – Josh Frost and Allison Frost both of Columbia

Two great-grandchildren – Maddie Breeding and Sam Breeding

Two brothers – Clyde Stone and wife Cindy of Florida, Bruce Stone and wife Sharon of Texas

Two sisters – Mildred Grigsby and husband Elmer of Alabama, Dean Burton of Indiana

A sister-in-law – Allene Stone of Indiana

Dora Mae chose cremation and a Memorial service will be Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 12 Noon at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Pescosolido officiating

Burial will be private in Cane Valley Cemetery

The family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M. Saturday

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity United Methodist Church would be appreciated and can be left at the funeral home.
