Dorothy Dimple Buck, 84, of Campbellsville, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Signature Health Care at Summit Manor.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1933 in the Chance community of Adair County and was the daughter of the late Milton and Lena May McIntar Wheet.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Calvin Turner on Dec. 24, 1969.

She later married George Buck, who preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 2003.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby Creel Wheet, Simpson Wheet, Rachel Huddleston and Jessie Hill.

She is survived by one son, Robert C. Turner and his wife Donni of Campbellsville; one daughter, Barbra Burton and her husband Ron of Columbia; step children, Betty Jo Shively, Peggy Gilpin and husband Les, George Alfred Buck, Danny Buck and wife Brenda and Mitchell Buck, all of Campbellsville; and by three grandchildren, Jan (Jim) Hadley, Latasha (Josh) Sapp, Felicia (Matthew) Burns.

Seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, a special friend, Karen Keltner and caregivers, Mary Louise Rainwater and Alice Davisson.

Mrs. Buck attended the Brethren in Christ Church in Campbellsville and was a supervisor at Edmonton Manufacturing Company in Greensburg for several years.

Funeral service was Tuesday, March 7 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Phillips with interment in Haven Hill Cemetery wtih interment in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Matthew Burns, George Alfred Buck, Jane, Jake Hadley, Jim Hadley, Hunter Hadley, Trend Hadley and Josh Sapp.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arragements.
