Early morning traffic stop by Sheriff’s office results in Methamphetamine and DUI charges

On Saturday, Nov. 30, Adair County Sheriff’s Deputy Joey Keith initiated a traffic stop of a 2006 Pontiac for unsafe driving infractions.

After a roadside investigation, it was found that Gordon Feese, 62, of Columbia was believed to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance.

He was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

At 12:32 a.m., he was placed under arrest, charged with possession of Methamphetamine and driving under the influence and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.

Deputy Joey Keith was assisted by Columbia Police officer John Dial and K-9 Gunner.

The Adair County Sheriff’s office is continuing investigation.
