Adair County teacher Denise Grant was beginning to look at retirement options after 23 years of working in education when the opportunity to not only teach but have a direct hand in helping students graduate fell into her lap. Grant has officially taken on the role as the Jobs for America’s Graduates specialist for Adair County High School and is working with JAG Kentucky and colleagues to implement the program locally.

Bailey Watts recently attended the Rogers Scholars Program and was awarded the Doug Reece Memorial Scholarship for having the highest application score of her 2023 class of scholars.  

Award recipients from Adair County are as follows: Adair County– Dr. Pamela Stephens, superintendent; Sydney Humphress, Adair County Elementary School; Katie Cowan, Adair County Middle School; Brittany Smith, Adair County High School.
