Deputy Cross pursued and was able to apprehend him over half a mile away from where it began.
The operator, Estes Owens, was taken into custody without incident.
Both were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by the Adair County Sheriff’s office on charges of burglary, 2nd degree, residence for Owens and fleeing and evading police, 2nd degree, burglary, 2nd degree, residence and criminal mischief, 3rd degree for Derman.
