Four individuals were arrested Friday morning following a report of multiple individuals with guns. The Adair County Sheriff’s Department responded to 619 Pellyton East Road after a 911 called explaining that multiple people were wielding firearms in defensive positions near the residence 619 Pellyton East Road. At least one firearm was located and confiscated.
Arrests were made after law enforcement was made aware that one individual claimed to have been shot at and was hiding inside a residence while waiting for officers to arrive on the scene. Police secured the area and arrested four individuals at the scene.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Department and members of Kentucky State Police are in charge of the investigation. More details will be released as they become available.
