Judge Executive Gale Cowan announced Adair County’s fourth confirmed case of  COVID-19 Monday evening. The patient is the second resident from Summit Manor to test positive. The Lake Cumberland District Health Department also announced the first confirmed case in Green County Monday.

JUDGE COWAN’S RELEASE:

I have just been notified by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department that Adair County now has 4 confirmed positive cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus. The 4th case is a resident of Summit Manor and was hospitalized last week as a precaution. Of the 4 cases, 3 are hospitalized and 1 is home isolated.

I ask that everyone please continue to keep the patients, their families, and our community in your thoughts and prayers.

Please continue to stay home unless you must be out.
