Francine Moore, 78, of Columbia, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born on Jan. 20, 1939 in Groesbeck, Texas, to the late Frank and Christine Robertson Steele. She was a member of South Edmonton Church of Christ and attended Columbia Church of Christ for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Tindell; and by two siblings, Elsie Marillian and Jerry Steele. She enjoyed gardening, reading, painting (a talented artist), loved and cherished all of her family and was a devoted wife and loving mother. She is survived by her husband, Winston Moore of Columbia; two sons, Mat Tindell and Jason Moore, both of Waco, Texas; two daughters, Lisa Dams of Plainville, Mich. and Julie Edwards of Parker, Colo.; three brothers, Russian “Cotton” Steele and Paul Steele, both of Lott, Texas and Allen Steele of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; one sister, Brooksie Cook of Keller, Texas; seven grandchildren, Austin and Dylan Edwards, Stuart and Martin Dams, Aaron Tindell, Percy and Orion Moore; and by two great grandchildren, Breanna and Gavin Tindell. Several other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral service is tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Aaron Trimm officiating with burial in Pierce Community Cemetery in Green County. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Friday.
