Frankie Gosa, 96, of Columbia, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
She was born on July 15, 1920 in Cardiff, Ala., to the late George Anderson and Nell Birchie Beulah Lankford Shadrick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rhonda Gosa.
She retired from Bremner Biscuit Company in Louisville.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Keltner of Columbia, Sherry Gosa-Domeck and Judy Sumner-McCombs, both of Louisville; five grandchildren, Denise Adamson, Karen Keltner, Susan Wise, Donnie Ray Vermillion, Jr., and Christian M. Sumner.
Twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service was Saturday, Oct. 1 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Reliford officiating with burial in Union Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Jerry Adamson, Bradley Adamson, Donnie Vermillion, Brian Harvey, Christian Sumner and David Wise.
