Frankie Jene Welliver, 74, of Knifley, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at T.J. Health Columbia after a sudden illness. He was born on Feb. 26, 1943 and was the son of the late Frank Melton and Mary Edna Barrett Welliver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Frances Northcutt and Rosette Faye Bryant; brothers, James Melton Welliver, Ernie Harold Welliver and Richard Thomas Welliver. He was a very dedicated construction worker as well as a trustee at Robinson Chapel Separate Baptist Church where he was a member. He is survived by his wife, Vonda Warren Welliver; one daughter, Thelma Jean Welliver of Knifley; two brothers and their spouses, Amos Manuel and Yvonne Welliver and Bethel Ivan and Margaret Welliver of Oklahoma; three sisters and their spouses, Getty Joy Belle and Glen Anderson, Sarah and Bill Rusher of Oklahoma and Gerry Lea and P.J. Fuksa of Texas. Funeral service was Saturday, May 20 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Wilson officiating and burial in Robinson Chapel Separate Baptist Church Cemetery. Casket bearers were Bobby Hughes, Jeremy Hughes, Anthony Warren, Greg Warren, Kelly Warren, Delbert Warren and Wayne Warren. Honorary casket bearers were P.J. Fuksa, Larry Hughes and Steve Warren.
