Fredia Roy, 56, of the Sano Community, passed away suddenly, Monday, July 11, 2016 at her home.
She was born June 8, 1960 in McQueary County and was the daughter of the late Harlen Lynn and Lora Bell Brooks Worley. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rita Harvey and Jewelline Daniel.
She is survived by one son, Lonnie Roy and wife Jennifer of Russell Springs; two brothers, Lynn Worley of Birmingham, Ala. and Ralph Lee Worley of Carrollton, Ga.; one sister, Phyllis Jo Roy of Carrollton, Ga.; four grandchildren, Kendall Roy, Jasmine Roy, Jono “Buddy” Shaw and Lillie Shaw; and by a longtime companion John Shaw of Russell Springs.
Fredia was a former employee of the dietary department at Russell County Hopsital and was a homemaker.
Funeral service was Thursday, July 14 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Harvey officiating and interment in Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers were DJ Coe, Brian Harvey, Danny Harvey, Ryan Herron, Brandon Roy and Johnny Roy.
