Georgia Judd, 64, returned to her heavenly home on Monday, June 15, 2020 after a fearless battle with a long illness.  Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Georgia was born to the late Preston and Hazel Burton Bryant on September 19, 1955 in Adair County.  She was blessed with a large and loving family.  Georgia grew up surrounded by four sisters that she loved dearly and was close with throughout her life.  She was a beautician and cosmetology instructor for years.  One of her greatest accomplishments in her life is her two sons along with her three grandchildren.  Georgia was immersed in the Christian community and found great joy in all aspects of her faith and was passionate about helping others along their walk with Christ.  She was heavily involved with the Emmaus Walks.  She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior.

Georgia is survived by her sons Casey Taylor (Sheavon) and J P Judd (Ashley); her grandchildren Sophie and Caysen Taylor, and Ava Judd; her sisters Milva Lawless (Dwight), Marsha Allen (Bill) and Marga Bryant; a special brother-in-law Howard Robertson and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Netta Robertson.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home and will continue on Thursday morning until time for the service.

Bro. Kenny Kimbler and Bro. Bobby Withers will be officiating and pallbearers will be Todd Robertson, Kevin Robertson, Parker Staten, Tyler Bryant, Daniel Lawless, Antony Lawless, Asa Lawhorn and Chad Coffey.

For the health and respect of the family, please follow all rules for social distancing and The Healthy at Work Guidelines.
