Goldie “Bell” Jones age 91 years formerly of Adair County passed

away Monday, May 21, 2018 at 8:05 PM at Green Hill Rehab &

Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY

She was born on Oct. 23, 1926 in Adair County

The daughter of late William Silas & Anna Lou Burdine Burton.

Widow of Clint “Buck” Grant & Billy Gene Jones

also preceded in death by three brothers & three sisters:

Raymond Ray Burton, Vernon Burton, Hollis E. Burton,

Eula Warren, Beulah Caldwell & Nannie Overstreet.

Survivors include one son:

Bill (Charlotte) Grant of Columbia, KY

2 Grandchildren William Kevin (Julie) Grant & Cynthia Kathryn (James)

Ward

2 Great Grandchildren Logan Chase Grant & Victoria Elizabeth Ward

several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive

She was a member of Egypt Christian Church, she loved flowers, crafts,

fishing, one of the organizers of the Knifley Fire Department, active in

the Democratic Party & worked to help raise funds for the upkeep of

Bearwallow Cemetery.
