The Kentucky Department of Education announced today that Gov. Andy Beshear recommended that K-12 schools not re-open for in-person classes for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year.
Schools will continue non-traditional instruction in order to reach their required hours for the year.
Adair County Schools Superintendent Pamela Stephens will be sending out a one-call tonight, April 20, to address the continued closure.
