The Wellie Paul Grant hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. tomorrow has been postponed because of the possibility of inclement weather. Commonwealth’s Attorney Gail Williams filed a motion recently asking Judge James Bowling to reconsider his ruling in Grant’s case. Bowling declared Grant incompetent to stand trial for a murder charge in the 2006 death of Rex Coffey and he was released from jail. Attorneys will meet with the judge to reschedule the hearing.
