An Adair County woman and two children were injured and a Jamestown man was given a citation after a head on collision on Saturday, March 21.
At around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nathan Harden, 32, of Jamestown was operating a 2004 Blue Saturn stopped at the intersection of Burkesville Street and the KY 55 Bypass, waiting to turn left from Burkesville Street onto the bypass.
Brooklyn Litteral, 32, of Columbia was traveling south through the intersection when Harden pulled in the path of Litteral and collided head-on.
Both vehicles had a green light at the intersection traffic light and Harden failed to yield the right away.
Litteral was injured, along with two of the three children she had with her. They were transported to T.J. Health Columbia.
Harden was operating on a DUI suspended driver’s license and was subsequently arrested on charges of driving on DUI suspended license, 1st offense; and driving without license/negligence in accident.
