Johnny Wayne Dial, 46, of Glasgow, formerly of Columbia, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C.
He was born on March 6, 1966, in Jacksonville, Ill.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Dial.
He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow and was a long time truck driver, currently working for Anderson Trucking Company.
He is survived by his parents, William and Ople Craworn Dial of Columbia; one son, Austin Kennedy Dial of Glasgow; his fiance, Julie Bybee of Glasgow; three brothers, Alford (Charlotte) Dial of Taylorsville, Mitchell (Pam) Dial and Tommy Dial, all of Columbia; and by two sisters, Kathy (Doug) DeRossett and Backy (Mike) Parradee, all of Columbia.
Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Jan. 16 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Shaw officiating with burial in Columbia Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Sam DeRossett, Ryan Dial, Will Bowling, Robert Biggerstaff, Mitchell Dial and Zazk Dial.
Honorary casket bearers were Tommy Dial, Austin Dial, Doug DeRossett and Timmy Franklin.
