Joseph Earl Hendrickson, of Indianapolis, formerly of Adair County, died Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Indiana.
He was born June 26, 1936 in Columbia, Kentucky, to the late William Oscar & Martha Lee Holt Hendrickson.
Joe worked at L.E. Isley & Sons for 17 years and Allison Transmissions for 28 years where he retired.

His devoted and loving wife of 59 years – Veachel Mae Hendrickson of Indianapolis
Three Daughters – Brenda Edwards & Linda Hendrickson both of Indianapolis & Jennifer (Delven) Barfield of Atlanta
Three Grandchildren – Ashley (Markus) Graves, Michael Edwards & Kayla Barfield
One Great-Grandchild – Alayna Graves
Four Brothers – Thomas Amos & John R. Hendrickson both of Indianapolis, Walter O. (Sandra) Hendrickson of Louisville & James A. G. (Emma J.) Hendrickson of Greensburg
Four Sisters – Mattie F. Hardin of Campbellsville, Sarah E. Jackson of Columbia, Ada L. (Joseph) Duncan of Indianapolis, Naomi E. (Roy) Embry of Greensburg

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Oasis of Hope Baptist Church, 1701 E. 25th St., Indianapolis, IN.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Friday at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North in Indianapolis.
