During the month of June 2019, there were 27 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington.
There were four fatal collision during the month of June in the Post 15 area.
Akeem D. Williams, age 26 of Jefferson Co KY was killed on 06/05/19 in Clinton Co KY.
Dawn M. Miles, age 42 of Adair Co KY was killed on 06/13/19 in Taylor Co KY.
Kendra Moore, age 18 of Cumberland Co KY was killed on 06/25/19 in Metcalfe Co KY.
Jeffrey G. Price, age 76 of Clinton Co KY was killed on 06/27/19 in Clinton Co KY.
This brings our yearly fatality count to 10 compared with 15 through this same period in 2018.
Statewide fatality count stands at 330 compared with 326 through this same period in 2018.
During the month of June 2019, there were 1207 citations written, 213 courtesy notices written, 1949 vehicles inspected, 551 complaints answered, 79 motorists assisted, 75 criminal cases opened and 276 criminal arrests made.
