(Columbia, KY.) – Kentucky State Police Detective Nick Davis is investigating the death of a 13-year-old male from Liberty. Post 15 was notified by the Casey County Sheriff’s Department at approximately 8:20 AM EDT Sunday, March 15. Friends of the juvenile had found him in the bed this morning and tried to wake him but he was unresponsive. The victim was pronounced deceased by the Casey County Coroner and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning. No foul play is suspected.
